The BackDrop Pole is designed to be a secure, stable, and easy-to-use solution for holding backdrops and background rolls on your photo set.

Unibody design with telescoping sections results in fast, secure set ups.

Extended length is 12 feet, 6 inches (3.8 meters). Compressed length is 4 feet, 7 inches (1.4 meters).

Use with Photoflex BackDrops or with your existing backgrounds. Photoflex BackDrop features a sewn channel that easily slides over our BackDrop Pole.

Our backdrop pole requires two LiteStands to support it.

Reflectors

Photoflex^® introduces our NEW & IMPROVED FlexDrop^®2 double-sided blue/green ChromaKey BackDrop. The new, improved 2-way stretch fabric is not only sturdier, but also means the FlexDrop2 is virtually wrinkle-free making for a smoother background altogether.

The large, reversible FlexDrop2 will provide you with the perfect backdrop for many digital photography or video uses. The 5x7 foot reversible fabric panel is a semi matte finish that does not reflect green or blue onto the back of your model or subject—and does not allow light to leak through. Great for shooting digital composites or drop-outs, or any shots where you want to control the background. Panel is guaranteed to open flat and folds down to 1/3 its size and stores in its own carry bag—making it as easy to transport and store as it is to use.

Eight tabs around its rim allow you to hang it for easy use. The double-riveted frame make it durable, while allowing it to maintain its flexibility. Increase your photo/video versatility with this great backdrop resource.

The CoolStar® 150 is the brightest CFL (Compact Fluorescent Lamp) available for use in a SoftBox. Color balanced to 5600°K, allowing for daylight balanced shooting.

Wide leg base on the litestands provides a very sturdy backdrop setup. Thick tubing provides exceptional strength and durability.

Lighting Kits

The First Studio Product kit utilizes our Medium pop-open Igloo (19.75” x 19.75” x 19.75”). It includes two First Star 250 watt tungsten lights to evenly illuminate the Igloo. Just place the lights a few feet away on each side of the Igloo to create soft, shadow less light inside the Igloo. Then use one of the two included Velcro attached background sweeps as a set to place your product or collectible inside the Igloo.

The Velcro flaps on the side of the Igloo can be pulled away to facilitate easy placement of your product, then they can be sealed around your lens if necessary for complete tenting of your scene to block unwanted reflections.

The BackDrop Pole is a single-unit with telescoping sections that constructs easily. The Pole stores collapsed at 4'7 ". The Pole extends to 12' 6".

Each 2320Y LiteStand extends to 12' high. The extra height afforded with these stands means you can shoot your model from a low angle without seeing the top of the backdrop in your shot. These are exceptionally sturdy stands with a maximum load rating of 40 pounds. The "flip-top" design of the brass post adds versatility for multiple uses in your studio.

Rated at 300 watt seconds with a guide number of 185 and up to 750 full power flashes on a single charge, the TritonFlash™ operates in the power range of studio strobes, enabling photographers to shoot large setups in bright sun without the need for AC power. Fast recycling allows bursts of up to 7 shots per second for capturing fast action at weddings, sporting events, or for scientific purposes.

Our lightweight lithium ion battery pack (22 ounces / 623 grams) is extremely efficient and environmentally safe, representing a significant upgrade from heavier Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) systems. Photoflex^® adjustable reflective Umbrellas were already the most versatile photographic umbrellas available today; and now they’re even better.
