Where do I find the software for installation?
The latest and legacy versions of DaVinci Resolve Studio are available for download on Blackmagics support page: Click here.

Where do I activate the full version in my Resolve software?
If you are running the free Resolve software you will need to download Resolve Studio, which is the full version and will prompt you to activate before using.

Is my licens valid for future updates or newer versions of DaVinci Resolve Studio?
So far it is. Blackmagic has not announced that a new license purchase will be required for coming versions.

Can I use this on more than one computer?
The license is for one system only. You can have the software installed on multiple computers but you will only be able to use it on one system at a time. So for more than one system running simultaneously you will need one license per system.

For how long is my license valid?
The license is not a subscription so as of now there’s no time limit for licenses.

Does the license work on both Mac and PC?
Yes it does. Just download the right version for your system from Blackmagics support page: Click here.

Can I get a replacement dongle or key if my original one has been lost?

What is the difference between the free and the full version of Resolve?

Is the Fusion version that is included in DaVinci Resolve Studio the full Fusion version?
The included Fusion is a reduced version embedded as a page within Resolve Studio.
It can’t be operated as a standalone software and are missing some of the features you will find in the full Fusion version.
As it is embedded within Resolve Studio you will also find the workflow to be different than that of a standalone Fusion license.
