Featuring the same footprint as the XLR-H2, the handle riser preserves compatibility with third-party cages while providing signal passthrough and stable mounting to the XLR handle via its integrated hot shoe and multiple 1/4"-20 threads. Its built-in 18" cable and proprietary mounting adapter connect the FX5 to the DVF-EL1, providing an anti-twist 1/4"-20 thread and mini 15mm rod for flexible rig configuration.
